My Hormone test results from Thriva have come, I am sharing some lifestyle changes (such as diet and water intake) I am implementing for my overall health as well as skin and fighting adult acne.
From my hormonal test results I was able to have a detailed report of my thyroid-stimulating hormone profile and this is currently displaying a high level TSH and normal T4- which indicated subclinical hypothyroidism- This can develop into hypothyroidism (Underactive thyroid) in the future so will need to be monitored.
I don't have many symptoms relating to PCOS but in the doctor's notes of the Thriva Hormone test results there was a suggestion made- further steps to rule out PCOS and this in relation to my adult acne.
The main lifestyle changes I am currently making are to do with my diet and eating less added sugar! Increasing my fiber and water intake, making changes to my washing detergent with the hopes that this will be gentler on my skin and cheeks where I have my cheek acne, which is a CONTINOUS area that I break out and my main problem area.
I take my own supplements for my overall health which include- probiotics, vitamin D and a multivitamin formulated with pantothenic acid and more.
I am sharing the lifestyle changes I am making and my hormonal test results, I am not here to diagnose others or give advice relating to hormonal regulation. However, I am sharing my experience and the results I received.
